Emily's Bat Mitzvah

When I arrived at The Village Temple Emily, the Bat Mitzvah girl was giddy with excitement and was full of joy. It made me smile so much that I was grinning from cheek to cheek.  This is why I love photographing Mitzvahs. The joy of family and friends coming together and all the love in the room makes it so much fun. I love to create lasting memories through my photographs for each and every family.

The party space Manhattan Penthouse is on Fifth Avenue and 14th Street right down the street from The Village Temple.  Its a loft-like space with arched windows, wood floors, and a beautiful wood bar.  It's full of natural light streaming in. It was March 2 and it was supposed to be the start to my spring mitzvah season but instead, it had snowed in the early hours.  Slush was everywhere on the street but by the time the party was over the sun had come out and the sky was crystal blue.  A great end to Emily's simcha.
